69/365 Ronald's Well-Meaning Mother

Ronald’s mother stormed into the classroom demanding a conference with his fourth-grade teacher and the classmates who taunted him. She reasoned; threatened; poked her parental finger in their faces. Afterward they called Ronald, Mommy's Ronnie and threw nasty names for her at him too.

Do parents not remember their early years and how much worse this type of public behavior can make it for their kids? (And kids are just the nicest folk in the world, aren't they?)

Some of your posts should be pulled out and published separately as Fat Red Ant's Cautionary Tales.

I often found myself wanting to run into classrooms pointing fingers in the faces of those who in anyway taunted, tormented or just plain ole irritated my kids. Thankfully I had some self-control. I know my kids were thankful for that! Mainly because they too had moments of being "the nicest people in the world"!

The title of this post alone tells a tale. So well done.

Guess this means I shouldn't verbally attack my son's boss the next time I see him, huh? No words about "appreciation" and "slave driver" and "aren't you human" allowed? Dammit.

Oh, if it wasn't for knowing that they would crucify him for such a faux paus, I would be shaking my finger for sure!!!

Poor Ronnie. Poor, poor Ronnie.
