65/365 Carol

Carol is a soft-spoken, rugged man who gathers the complexity of simple living (woodchopping, haying, sugaring) into gentle metered paeans of rural values. When asked about his process he admits he fears he’ll run out of titles long before he runs out of poems.

It's been a while, but I'm sure I've heard him read. His wife was always by his side at the weekly series I attended.

Yes - I tried to fit Carol's nearly mute but unyeildingly supportive wife into it but couldn't make it work. Then realized she deserves he own 44 words...if only I could rememeber her fist name.

It's taken me all morning to remember his LAST name! Funny you would say "nearly mute," because I almost described her above as "very quiet."
