86/365 Jack

I thought I’d married the perfect man but discovered he too has flaws: he sometimes forgets to remove tissues from his pockets before doing laundry--littering the whole load with white debris. Try imagining the life I’ve had, living with a man like that!

I think I'd deal with it by going to the gym, then going to a bar. My sympathies. (Great post.)

Omigod, the scope of it boggles the mind. Have you considered couples counseling?

I know. I somehow snagged one of "the good ones." I could write 44 words daily about him for the rest of my natural life and still not capture a single layer of his kind, loving spirit and his magical blue eyes.

But he IS a guy so he can be a jerk sometimes (unlike me.) He almost never answers the phone when it rings and the license plate on his car accurately reads "L8AGAIN" ...that alone's gotta be worth a little sympathy ;-)

But the man I know him to be and the way he loves me in spite of myself eclipses those minor infractions.

We moved in together this weekend - 22 years ago - and he's now officially been in my life longer than not. That's cool. Everyone tells me how lucky I am but no one has to.

(Ps. He doesn't do ALL the laundry - and he can't fold for shit - it all comes out as really bad origami.)

You are truly blessed on a number of counts with this guy... and the L8AGAIN thing... Oh don't get me started... Count that as a blessing too because then you look like you actually make places on time I am willing to bet!

I'm overcome with sympathetic pangs on your behalf ...

... okay, maybe NOT, but just the fact that he is male is sufficient to clue me in to the fact that you deserve my utmost sympathies

and my sincere congrats on 22 years!

So glad to see you continue about Jack. Those 44 words certainly are only a start to a truly great guy! One of the best - always wished I found one as thoughtful, kind, understanding and adventurous. Luckily, I did. :)
