Tom sees everything coming. “I could have predicted that,” he’ll shrug but nobody can recall him doing so. “I could have told you that wouldn’t work,” he’ll declare. Then why didn’t he? In hindsight Tom continually stuns the group with his expertise and perspicacity.

nice word-perspicacity. i had to use my dictionary. i am going to try to work it into all my conversations today.
Did you watch Gilmore Girls last night? I think that word figured prominently (if my short-term memory is holding...).

i watched gilmore girls, but i watched the first half muted as i was on the phone so i might have missed it.
